I remember when I bought Battlefield.
At the age of 11, two years after the release, a few days after my birthday, I went to buy Battlefield 1942 with my father and my birthday money. I came into that nice store where I kindly asked one of the vendors if they have that game that was announced a few times on the TV, the game called Battlefield. The vendor was a young guy who smiled at me and brought me and my dad to the games corner and showed me the game. We discussed a bit, topics like how good should my PC be and if I can run it with the specs that I wrote on that note paper bla bla bla.
He mentioned something about expansions and that I'd need the base game to play those (back in the days I always thought that expansion already were the full game, just "updated, so I was very confused)
The game was love
Online was major stuff (lags and I'm really bad at online FPS)
