Author Topic: Just saw the movie Unstoppable.  (Read 1357 times)

I just saw Unstoppable and I loved it. My favorite part was when the train was about the flip right into the chemical plant. And when the guy managed to put the train into idling. My least favorite part was when Triple Seven made the other guy's two engines flip right onto their side and then; kablammo!

Another favorite part was when Triple Seven destroyed the ghetto boxcar.

Double toast. And there is silence.

Something similar to Unstoppable happened on the 1900's...except a little less violent.

Really? What was it.

This movie actually looks great. I'm amazed, because it's a movie about a train that lost its brakes or something like that.

No, the air brakes on the train weren't secured and the guy moved the train but he needed to flip the switch so he set the train to auto pilot and flipped the switch and all of a sudden the train just goes full throttle. Then the rest of the movie happens after that.

I think it was the Delion station or something like that. Someone pulled the E-brake, and while the guys were leaning in between the cars to reset it, hey accidentally pulled a lever that released the brake pressure, which caused them to lose control of the train and leading to a collision that killed over 150 people.

i thought the plot was stupid beyond comprehension.
however the actors were good. i liked them.
