Author Topic: Game Crashes on Startup  (Read 1376 times)

Everytime I select "Start a Game" on the Blockland main menu and hit "Launch Game" it crashes. I took a look at my console and I noticed that my console said this for more than 900 of my add-ons...

Quote
Error: SimDataBlock::onAdd() - Exceeded maximum number of data blocks (4095)
Add-Ons/Gamemode_zombie/Zombie_tank.cs (0): Register object failed for object RotTankZombie of class PlayerData.
Executing Add-Ons/Gamemode_zombie/Zombie_boomer.cs.
Object 'ZombieJumpSound' is not a member of the 'AudioProfile' data block class
Error: SimDataBlock::onAdd() - Exceeded maximum number of data blocks (4095)

Is it because of this? If it is, how do I fix it.

The intention of Bump is to put the thread back on the top. But you bumped 22 minutes after you posted, it was already on the top.
Wtf?

Before starting a new server, try to disable (/default) all of your Add-Ons and see if it works that way.
If so, you should learn to sort your damn Add-Ons before hosting a game, unless it's freebuild.
Whenether you host a game, just enable the Add-Ons you need, or might need.
If you host a TDM don't enable a private jet for example... Or any guns you might not need.

Well, I am not hosting a game online I was only trying to host offline.

Regradless to that, having only necessary Add-Ons enabled decreases loading time and lag, even for Single-Player.
And yet, as I said; first try to disable (/default) all Add-Ons and try to host and see if it works.

Alright I got it to not crash, but when I spawned a window appeared that said I had to many add-ons enabled. I will decrease the amount of add-ons, but by chance, do you know the maximum amount of add-ons/datablocks are aloud in the game at once?

I remember in v16 or v17 once I had a Maximum 200 Add-On limit reached thingy on my server .. dunno if it's related or updated so we can enable more..
