Over my 8-month stay in these forums, I'd say in the small time I've been here, it's actually quite changed me. Before joining these forums, I was an immature idiot who knew absolutely nothing of the internet, only to my prior knowledge of how people interact with eachother through forums thanks to the falling sand forums (lol i am cigarette).
But, not only have I become more aware of things, and more mature, to say the least, It's the people here that makes up for the drama and stupidity other people bring.
When I first joined, I saw so many people talking about things I had no idea about, like people calling me an alt of plaz, talking about popular events that happened before I registered my account, and things like that. I didn't know what to say or what to do.
It was four months before I joined the forums did I get Blockland itself. For a good game, I couldn't really get into it. The building style was amazing, the open fresh world of a building game is fun, once you start; since you think about anything that can happen.
Anyways, back to the forums; I've gone through many things over the months, my personality and attitude changed for the better because of these forums, and that's what I really like, though. You'd think since it's just an online forum it wouldn't really affect you personally. But it did. This forum left an imprint in me.
Since I live in the middle of nowhere, and I was by myself most of the time, but I still made my time by talking to you guys, and socializing the only way I could.
tl;dr, if it wasn't for this forum, I would be a loser :)
