just introducing a new character right the forget out of nowhere is jarring and confusing. why should we care about this person or what they do if they haven't met menen in any way?

That is why I don't like the character and would like it dropped, it has no conceivable relation to the plot and just came right out of nowhere.

I can't loving stand homestuck anymore. I used to like it but all the completely random jumping around got me disinterested. I thought it was mostly about that zoosmell pooplord guy and his purple friend fighting demon jesters but then there was this random ragged guy and then some shades guy with a bunch of naked puppets and then this magical science girl and now there are these troll people or whatever the forget. If you have to pull "and now for something completely different" as a plot point then your plot sucks.

Hussie planned out the plot for homestuck before it even started.

Just because characters are introduced at different times, it doesnt make it bad.

No. They didnt. Its better to introduce characters one at a time and get to know them better than introduce them all at once and overwhelm the reader
