More RAM then you need can slow down your computer. The best amount is probably 4-8 GB.
I heard that somewhere on the internet there is a 1,000,000x1,000,000 image. Anyone who tries to view it always crashes their computer because they need a stuff ton of RAM to process it and view it.
I heard also that some guy used a 1 TB hard drive as ram to load it. How the maker rendered the image was by using an Atari 2600 to render it pixel by pixel for probably like 5 years.
Crazy stuff, huh? I still never found the image.
