That seems a bit excessive for a laptop. How much RAM does it already have, and what do you do on it?

I have 1 gb of RAM currently. I do quite a bit, from video editing to gaming, but I'm not quite sure how much I need. So I decided I'd just go with the max my computer can handle so I don't have to upgrade again.
