Author Topic: I NEED HELP Packaging!  (Read 807 times)

EDIT: Alright, since nobody can figure out an answer, I would just like to know, "How would I go about make a simple script so that the game can render the a model, and be placed on top of bricks. That's all I'm asking for, I don't care if it's labeled as a brick or not.

EDIT #2: Also, if I wanted the model to be say... twice as big as a minifigure in the game, would I need to size it in Blender or would the .blb size it on its own?

Hey all, I have this model that I want to make into a prop on Blockland, but then I thought that props where spammy and nobody wanted them. So I figured that I would make it into a brick. I took a look at the .cs and .blb inside of the default bricks for Blockland. I understood the .cs with ease but I couldn't figure out how the .blb was formatted. So I did some research and figured out that most bricks were made with that .blb to shape it. My only problem/question that I have is, "Since I have a model and only want that model in game, how do I go about scripting a .blb for it?" Any help is greatly appreciated.

Spaceguy's BLB format reference:

You don't think I looked at that? My only problem is understanding what parts of that code he posted I need to script and edit. :/

You dont use the code he posted. You make your own. Every .blb is diffrent.

I know that, why do you think I said script/edit? Trust me, all BLB files are formatted the same, they just include different parts of code and numbers. That's all.

I use Destiny's/zack0wak0's obj2blb. It automaticly makes most of the .blb and you just have to fill in the rest.

Really? Oh yeah! I remember that converter. The only problem is that I have a Mac and can't run that .exe :/ Would you be willing to convert it for me? :D

Bump, I really need help!

Sorry for double bump. But I have updated my statement
