To expand on the atom thing real quick,

Anti-matter is a negativly-charged atom, the protons have a negative charge and neutrons have a positive charge. Anti-matter is made when energy is converted to matter, you get some matter and an equal amount of anti-matter. Anti-matter releases a large amount of energy when it comes in contact with matter making it a theoretical energy source often seen in sci-fi movies or shows.
