Well I'm getting a graphics card for Christmas, and I've narrowed it down to two different ones.

I'm no pro and I'd like to know if one is a better buy than the other. I know the first is better, but is it really worth paying the extra $130 or so?

I would go for a 6870 which is about the same as a 5870 but less money

To be fair, you did say "One word."
Which sounds more of a command to me, than a suggestion.

I think you are confused. I said I am open to suggestions.

If you have a suggestion for a better Nvidia card for a better price, say something.
