Remembering the USSR

I recall USSR ever since I joined BL... Good ass builders... Their builds look like pictures taken in real life and just posted on BL forums claiming its a build and amazingly... It was a build...

They were my inspiration, granted, they build structures ranging from past to future but they were loving amazing... I cant believe USSR is over (I knew this long ago but meh)

I never had (or will have) the skills to build like them...

Nobody could ever beat them... Its like classic N64... If you had one and played alot of N64, you will LOVE the classics over any modern day console (I have a 360 but I have been playing alot of N64 off of emulators, if you dont understand, your not old enough)

close to what they were like. Now we are ghosts, but the memories remain.

I remember when I joined in V8 the first DM server I ever joined was USSR fort wars. I'd save bricks usually whenever I went there and throught the saves, you can see the progress of the USSR clan fort. It wasa always really well done and impossible to get into due to JVS. I remember they had some of the best weapons. Like the remote bomb.

The Building Clan (if I am correct) by Mr_Grinch alias Trueno. The guy who made Trueno's colorset along with Diosadentro. Wow, so many names...

Ah Barn. I remember you (even if you don't) haha. Good times.

And Yeah, Trueno and Diosadentro were the first people I ever met on Blockland when I bought it.

Crap, I'm so mad my other computer's harddrive got erased, I had some of your builds, Barnabas, along with some MotE, USSR, and TBC ORIGINAL builds that I doubt anyone outside of ID's 1000+ have seen.

When I first joined, my dream was to always Join TBC, USSR, or MotE ;( then I became inactive for a long time and came back. Poof, everyone left Blockland.

I beleive they officially died in v11. cause they still had a server in v10. If it wasn't USSR then it was Diggy's personal server

I still remember making a miniture building on the desert map and have ronin utterly destroying it, but i still liked the USSR, and they closed, and the members split apart, and menu clans followed, became popular, and huge, we have too many huge clans now.

This is a baww thread for me, who joined in V7.

I miss SHEEP, I was the co-leader for a long time alongside Spation, we had some awesome stuff, fighting furries, fighting furdle [who is actually a good guy now], and also HORS, our greatest enemy clan, that we were keen on having a war with.

But now i'm the one with the pretend rights to the clan, i could bring it back for like, the 5th time, but every time i try to bring it back, people don't understand it and deem it a spam clan, it seems like only the older members respect it.
Might consider trying to bring it back again if people are ready for it.

Ontopic: I joined in early v8 and was inspired by them to make some of my larger builds (of course, they were crap) but they helped me become a good builder.

Building: i.e. like some of the castles and landscapes I have made in the past

@Aphtonites : Oh yes, been almost 3 years since I last played or remotly looked at the forums... I will be passing by here and there though I can't give my 100% on anything here on Blockland cause college + Work + actual life = No time > Blockland
