I just remembered a really old meme from these forums that I never understood.

Spation invented it. It was a phonetic version of the French expression "ou pas" meaning "or not". They usually used to spam Furdle's messages, as he was really hated back then. Nowadays Furdle matured a lot, so he's a nice person now.

On the other hand, "oopah!" carried on as a way of spamming clan topics which were deemed bad by the sheep clan.

Well that defines a time in Blockland... why did they close anyhow? I never really understood.

No one could run the servers. Diggy resigned and ronin was too busy to host. Also what icy said, many people went inactive which led to its downfall
