Author Topic: Choosing a good RC heli  (Read 1947 times)

I can get 1 expensive gift, and 1 cheap gift. The expensive gift is this RC helicopter.

Is this a good RC helicopter to get?

It looks like it would be cool.

I never get these things, they always get stuck on the roof and/or have an amazing crash that brutally murders the copter and everyone in it.

Get it, and show us a video.

Looks like it's in the price range where it's not entirely a toy and might be OK but definitely not 100% quality.

it's really a hobby class helicopter meaning that you can get replacement parts for it

forget, I can't get it. I have to get an indoor heli. I picked this. Any opinions?

i dont use these brands. but from your site there i learned to fly them using cheapy ones like this:

this is a very standard helo, electric, the parts that will break are cheap to replace (body cover, blades, landing gear)
there is software for you to plug the actual remote into your comp and practice on a RC simulator.

dont get into special models, or more expensive ones till you master flying them.
because its an expensive hobby, you gotta start small.
these arent toys.

Exceed RC Robo Helicopter series has a huge success since it hit the market, thanks for the Bell Rotor Head system, the helicopter flies like no one else, the 45 degrees flybar makes the Exceed RC Robo Helicopter flies like a Co-Axial Helicopter, which is a dream to fly for beginners. Now Exceed RC decided to boost up the performance, by adding all the good electronics in it, like a 3800kv Brushless Motor and a Brushless Shaft Driven Tail Rotor, this makes the Exceed RC Robo Helicopter even more easier to fly!

Since the Exceed RC Robo Helicopter is the Ultimate mode, it has the 2.4G radio system and metal upgrades as well, that makes it more Durable and more Precise.
Whoever wrote that is either of an Asian first language or a complete dumbass.

Get a real helicopter instead!

I know a friend who has a RC stunt plane thats the size of a large go kart I mean really large for a hobby plane it's worth over 3000 I think but he got it for like under 250

Get the AR Drone you fool. So loving bad ass.

Get a gun.
and make a RC helicopter out of that.

I got a helicopter but it crashed and died :(
