Were you on any sort of medication? Anticoagulants, aspirin, ibuprofen, accutane, -- there are a lot that cause spontaneous nosebleeds. It's generally pretty rare, but it's still a distinct possibility. Generally it shouldn't take 10 minutes for your blood to clot unless something's interfering.
I haven't taken any medication in the past 4 days.
Well if you pinch your nose the blood will go down your throat. That's how it works it doesn't just disappear.
You need to hold your head forward to stop the blood from going down your throat.  It wasn't going down my throat, and it's still not.

Oh. In that case, it's either Von Willebrand disease or a non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Congrats!
You're going to die.

The fact that it is always in one spot in my nose leads my to believe I have some sort of injury that can never quite heal in my nose, which will open up again every time it is irritated.  If this is the case, I will still need to go to the hospital to have it sealed.

My friend had a nosebleed for an hour or so. A really bad one. Turns out he had aplastic anemia (bone marrow cancer)

this is troubling.
do you have a condition?

I have no blood diseases, unless I have somehow received one since I was in 1st grade...
stop watching anime
Haven't seen any anime in at least 2 years, possibly 3 or 4.  Also, how would this effect anything?

These people are so motivating, am I right? But, as my family always says: "You'll live."

I doubt there is any real danger of me dying.  Unless it turns out I have a terminal disease, in which case, darn.

I have something similar.

If I breathe in dust through my nose and there's no snot, I'll rip the cartridge thingy at the back of my nose and get a bad nosebleed.

The longest nosebleed I've ever had was about 75 minutes. It was at the start of school, so I missed the rest of the day because I had to go home C:
