Author Topic: LEGO hero factory makes skelo mad! SKELO SMASH  (Read 786 times)

Well alot of us here probably loved the ORIGINAL bionicle

not like the original bionicle in every series but like the loving original bionicle with kanoka club n stuff

but now there is no good cgi movies just this series
there is no familiar voice telling us to “listen again to the tale of the bionicle”
according to this bionicle series our heroes are loving mass produced  in some giant factory, not matoran imbued with mystical powers

HERESEY

and there is no makuta, no evil man who was near indestructible and actually served a decent challenge to our heroes
BLASPHEMY

what have you done to our bionicle childhoods nickelodeon/LEGO?!?!

man, your not the only one pissed.
Either
A) we grew out of it
B) Lego stopped caring
take your pick, but I believe they should go back to the classics, just for a visit, if you ask me.

You are no longer the target demographic. Shut up and deal with it.

Honestly, who knows what could have happened if they continued bionicle?

Honestly, who knows what could have happened if they continued bionicle?
It would have been garbage.
Bionicle went to stuff after the Toa Metru because then they went from Technic-like creations with moving parts (onua's claws, kopaka's sword, etc.) to buildable action figures.

Also Hero Factory isn't even Bionicle. It's a new series.

I've never even boughten a bionicle because I prefer the sets more.

Ah, I had a good childhood with bionicle. c:

EDIT:
Honestly, who knows what could have happened if they continued bionicle?
They could have just atleast roled back to the previous versions.
Such as 2001, 2002, 2003.

Memories... I have the Toa Metru book set. "Listen again to the tale of the Bionicle" is familiar, but I've never seen the movies. I plan on looking up the movie with the Toa Metru, though. And the Kanoka... I remember the Kanoka Disks and the Great Disks, but never heard of a Kanoka club :P
And Makuta... I remember him, I think. Was he in the Toa Metru series, as well? I think I remember reading his name in one of the books...
While typing this, I'm staring at my collection of the spider Bionicle thingermajigs sitting atop my computer... I love those little guys and shooting the little disks around my house XD

BLASPHEMY MADNESS

NO THIS, IS, SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i was little i thought bionicle was cool for a second
then i found out that i hate it

when i was little i thought LEGO goes in Off Topic for a second
then i found out that there's a thread in Creativity

Does anyone remember Galidor? Hehe, the robot's hair popped up when I twisted his ear.

Bionicle was good, but eventually got screwn up with the cocoon thingy Bionicles.

only this has nothing to do with self-made creations, but the current state of lego sets.

I loved Bionicle.
I considered its massive, incredible, and ultimately unique story and hand-crafted world to be an authentic example of modern literary epic. In English we have been working on the well-known "Oddyssey".
I see many similarities. So strange to see this come from a toy company.
I loved every single era of Bionicle. Some are better than others, but they all connect to form a single breathtaking legend.

It greatly annoys me how most people are totally unawares of its massive story.
I don't blame them though...
A general reaction to a story written over the course of ten years is bound to receive some...

"TL;DR"
