Author Topic: A question to christheads (yay reli-war)  (Read 14224 times)

I've been watching Raymond and his daughter asked a damn nice question which I'd love to ask you cigarettes.

Why are we born on earth even though when we die we go to heaven? Why don't we go straight to heaven?

Why do we need to start this?
(Or is this the question that cannot be answered?)

Because heaven doesn't exist. Because heaven and hell are ordeals created to keep the people in line years ago. And it worked hella good.

i was going to say something about adam and eve, but i realized that was wrong

hmm

Because "God" made us, simply so he could be worshiped.

If we were born in heaven directly, we would treat it normally. We're probably born on Earth so that once/if we get to heaven that we're much happier than if we were just straight in Heaven.

Because God wanted to make humans.  And by testing them through life on earth, he only has the people dedicated to him up there in heaven.

And it's funny how you athiests just make fun of us.  We don't make fun of you.

If god is all-forgiving, how do you know everyone isn't up there?

because most people haven't asked him to forgive

God is all forgiving, until a certain point when friends like you try to prove him wrong.

I'm not sure what he thinks about calling people with their opinions "friends."

Why not? Maybe it's for our experience. Maybe for God's.

I believe they are. :o

I thought of this:
God wants to see who's good and bad before he lets them in his heaven.

I don't really believe in God, but it seems like this is something anyone would do. It's kind of like not letting someone in your house because you don't trust them.

And those who aren't worthy to enter your house burn in a fiery pit of doom and despair.

That's the rule in my house. :D
