Author Topic: Buffer overrun! (Too many music files?)  (Read 2055 times)

I have a whole bunch of music files (all downloaded from here) in my \base\data\sound\music folder. When  I click on music files in the start server dialog, sometimes this pops up:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Buffer Overrun Detected!

C:\Program Files\BlocklandRetail\Blockland.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected and has corrupted the program's internal state. The program can not safely continue execution and must be terminated."

What can I do?

Have you tried deleting some music files?

Mabey you should uncheck some you dont realy need to use. Then check the ones you want to use. Try it if it works mabey we can convince badspot to limit the ammount of music files usable per server.

I got that all the time, because my computer was just too crap to handle blockland.

I get that message if there's an error in my code somewhere.  Check your console.  I just fix the error and it's good to go from there.

Check the music list for any renamed/deleted files.

that has happened to me with some songs i put in, only some songs, i just delete which ever one did it, gay though, i really wanted throw some d's playin my my club :[
