Author Topic: New Tourist Attraction?  (Read 914 times)

I remember seeing something on TV or the web. It said, "Ukraine is deciding to open the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl for tourists." WTF?!

Its gonna destroy the world then maek the Post Apocalypse happen!  :cookieMonster:

Lol, no.
The half life will never allow the radiation to disappear so it's still incredibly dangerous.

Did you know that they found a new element under the reactor? It's called Chernobylite now.

If you paid enough you could go on a tour there anyway.

Unless they feel like equipping their tourists in radiation protective gear I don't think this will hold water.

Really? :o

It was a fusion of waste, radioactivity, sand, and glass. It was giving off so much radiation they had to shoot it with a rifle and get a robot to pick up the shards.

Radioactive protective gear, what a joke. You need something like 6 foot of led to stop radiation from getting through. You can walk through Chernobyl but you need a guide with a radiation detector so you don't walk into deadly pockets.
