Author Topic: Please help me, computer infected!  (Read 1166 times)

I really need help guys, some fake AV scanner infiltrated my computer D:
If someone finds the right website to help, or provides the best solution, I will give you several long-lost addons, this is urgent.

I recommend installing Malwarebytes, and then Avast for some constant protection.
I hate fake AV programs, and Avast seems to catch them on the dot.
And I don't want the stuffty-ass add-ons.

I was going to help, but then you threatened to give us stuffty lost add ons.

You've been here less than two months and you already have several "long-lost addons?"

Use ad-aware or avast. They're both free programs. If the virus doesn't allow you to download anything try downloading it on another computer than transferring the installation via usb drive to your computer.

Well, what do you want?
Help me and I won't give them to anyone?

Not according to my old account.

You know what, I'm going to have my dad help me.
He's a wiz at this, and I really need the help.
I can accept any punishment he gives me.
(Last time it was 1 or 2 weeks off electronics)

I've gotten mistaken for you twice.

Which fake AV is it?

Malwarebytes to get rid of it, then Avast to help prevent it from happening again. If it won't let you DL anything, then get it on another computer and copy it to shared docs and copy it over to your computer. Or you could put it on a USB and go from there.

Yep, I'm doing the dad plan.
