Why don't I just switch back to windows XP. This is a pain in the ass. Windows 7 is complete garbage.

It's probably 'complete garbage' to you because either your computer can't support it or because when you installed windows 7, you didn't get any of the necessary drivers you need.

You don't have a windows 7 graphics card.
You have the same graphics card as you did before, unless you got a new computer, or opened it up and put a new one in.

If you just bought windows 7 and put it on your old computer, you don't have a driver at all.
