Can't see why this would be bad for the drama section. No editing applies to prevent people from erasing their stupid post to prevent further taunting. I can't see where this would cause a problem unless someone were to make a dumb post, notice before anyone replied, then make a magical anti-post to cancel out the first in a spectacular burst of energy.

However, the idea as a whole seems like too much work with too little payoff. If someone intentionally posts a gazillion messages in a row as spam they get banned.

Because most of the time that's what's posted.

Yeah, now that I think about it, people would still be able to tell if it was a double/triple/quad/etc. post because of the line break. Unless it was one of those rare people who puts line breaks between each different subject of their post. Yeah, it still has quite a few holes.
