isn't it possible to stream a capturecard? if so please esplain

i also tried googling it but it only comes up with tutorials for justin.tv and bleh

Yes. Here's what I do. I open up Pinnacle Studio and it brings up a small window that shows what my capture card is displaying. I then livestream that screen. So basically I'm livestreaming a livestreaming? Framerate is pretty low like 15-25 fps but it's still decent.

You can use Adobe Media encoder as well but I had issues with it.

well the screen on mine is tiny (i dunno if that's normal or not because i just got my capture card today), so is there any way to enlarge it?

keo
When I livestream there is like a 2 minute delay between me and the website.

How2fix?

Not sure. What program do you use? Also try adobe media encoder. It'll livestream your capture card but you have to know how to set up an embedded link for your livestream. I'm pretty sure there's tutorials on that.

Get faster connection speed. A livestream isn't actually live. The software basically writes video and uploads it to the website while the viewers download the video. All at the same time. There's always going to be a delay from 1 second to 1 minute. It all depends on your connection.

apparently "Pinnacle Studio 12"

Strange the window shouldn't be too small. Mine takes up like 1/4 of the screen. It's not like it matters because livestream.com has a really small video window as well. If you really do want to stream high quality though try adobe media encoder. That's the best way to get a high framerate and good quality. It's just setting up that dam link that's a pain in the ass.

Is my connection bad?

Is my connection bad?

Yeah. The download isn't too bad but your upload is stuff. Upload is what you want for livestreaming. Also having a better processor also helps.

Actually I take that back. Livestream's max rate is 400kbs which is what you have. You can go higher but you have to pay or something.

Did you pay?

would you consider this small then?

would you consider this small then?

Yeah. You have a higher version than me. I have 10. There's probably a feature to expand the window but if you can't find it, try adobe media encoder.

I'm going to assume you tried fiddling with the settings?
