Author Topic: Massive virus. Thanks Fpsbannana! -- Fixd  (Read 4164 times)

I literaly can't do anything, it has shut down every control I had. I can't even open task manager.

Safe mode will fix'ya. :D

That's what i'm doing, now I have to find the SOORCE

Read that link that bro posted.
It has some tutorial on how to remove it and stuffz.

What we normally do at school to fix laptops, is boot into safemode, and transfer malwarebytes over via a thumb drive. You should be able to scan like that. If the problem still exists, try updating malwarebytes, (if you have to, search how to update it offline.) Once the computer appears clean, I generally run Microsoft Security Essentials to check it.

Sucks br0. Will BitDefender help prevent/kill the virus? I have it and people are saying it's rlly good but I can't be too sure.

the Steam forums don't say that it will.
Check the link and it has a list of anti-virus programs that will block/remove it

Thanks guys, ill try it.

Would it be wrong of me to say you deserve it?

Go start a religeon war and fap to atheisim

I was just playin and stuff, all of a sudden "system files brok force restart lol k" and my machine restarted without warning.
When I started it up, VIRUS EVERYWHERE
I can't do anything, steam, internet, email. Im writing this on a laptop. Thank god the internet is broken and I can't see adult.com and researcho.org. Funny thing is that im getting a "buy this anti-virus software!" everywhere, which just screams fpsbannana.

Fpsbannana is still NOT safe.
I got the same thing, it's a rouge antivirus. I'm a stupid so I actually got geeksquad to fix it.

I could tell because I had never even installed the anti-virus before (as far as I know).

I think my mistake was closing it.

I've had this same thing with my computer.

You need to reinstall your Operating system... To do this, you will need a re-install CD. Put it in your computer,  turn off your computer, turn it back on. Then, before XP boots up, press F1 and go to system>boot sequence. Put the CD drive at the top of the list. Save settings, turn your computer off again, and turn it back on.

This should boot of the disk, and it will wipe out your system of ALL your programs and files... including your virus.

Sorry if I explained it badly, but this is the only way. There is more info on the Microsoft website...

um

I think im going to try system restore first :3
