Author Topic: The true meaning of christmas, Ruined  (Read 1843 times)

Well, The weather people have been predicting for us to get snow, which we did, White christmas, eh? I think not. My family own the business that plows the snow from the runways at the local airport. Aunts, uncles, and my father all have to leave whenever it snows. My Dad had to leave this morning, which means so did our other relatives. We were going to have a huge christmas eve party, but now no one can come, all because of 2 inches of snow. That also means that my dad isn't going to be home for christmas.

forget!!!

Again, what the forget are you blabbering on about.

Everyone is scattered around the airport, it's too loud to hear anything, and your only allowed an hour of sleep at a time, My dad stayed awake for 56 hours straight working the entire time, Plus even if I did go, I probobly wouldn't see anyone I know during the entire experience, plus, It's Christmas loving Eve!

Be happy, one plane crash happened due to ice and the pilot decided to go on

But that's their job.
They get paid to do it.
They accept the money for the work and times that they do it.

When you have a job based around clearing snow, which pretty much only falls in the Winter, expect Winter Holidays to have problems.

Anyway, You can do Christmas the day after, it's not like it's going to disappear.
As 'Disney' as it sound, Christmas is based around your family, even if you have to do it the day after.
You're still with your family.
