They'd have to be relatively rare, though, or it would actually suck stepping outside and getting toasted.

Also, the only theoretically possible dragon would be a wyvern, as no animal bigger than a few feet has more than six appendages. Four legged dragons (with wings) would have to have some insane bloodflow and body structure to achieve that.

But wyverns are still awesome.

Dragons are interesting. We can say that dragons un-evolved into komodo dragons. They just lost the ability to breath fire and fly but were small.
