where EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN SHIPThis is going to test some new combat features for the upcoming (70x100) Space Adventure Redux. It will be a series of deathmatches between ship tiers. The first one is going to be a 3v3 team deathmatch using ships from Tier 1. Each team will have one of each class. I will now take signups, but ONLY sign up if you are going to actually participate.
CORVETTE FRIGATE DESTROYER
CORVETTES have the lightest weapons and shields, but they gain an extra chance to avoid incoming attacks, and can move farther in one turn.
CUTLASS and RAPIER are the Corvettes you may choose from.
CUTLASS (top): 9 HP, 7 SH. 2 Heavy Beams (3 damage)
RAPIER (bottom): 9 HP, 11 SH. 2 Beam Lasers (2 damage)
FRIGATES are the battleships of tier one. They have good armor and weapons, but they don't really excel in any given field.
Your choice of Frigates is limited to the BOGATYR and LEGIONARY class.
BOGATYR (top): 14 HP, 16 SH. 4 Beam Lasers (2 damage), 2 Rocket Pods (.5 damage, 7 rocket salvo, 1 turn recharge)
LEGIONARY (bottom): 14 HP, 12 SH. 2 Heavy Beams (3 damage), 2 Beam Lasers (2 damage), 2 Laser Repeaters (.5 damage, 6 shot burst)
DESTROYERS can seek out and eliminate stealth ships with their dimensional depth charges and SOAGG seekers. They are also faster than frigates and carry a similar armament, so they can give a straight fight as long as they dont get hit.
The SQUIRE and APPRENTICE are the only destroyers available for round one.
SQUIRE (top): 12 HP, 10 SH. 2 Heavy Particle Projection Cannons (5 damage each, 2 turn recycle), 2 Heavy Beams (3 damage)
APPRENTICE (bottom): 12 HP, 14 SH. 2 Gauss Cannons (4 damage each, 2 turn recycle), 2 Heavy Beams (3 damage)
Corvette: RAPIER. Captain: Qwepir (Color: Red)
Frigate: BOGATYR. Captain: Comr4de (Color: Blue)
Destroyer: APPRENTICE. Captain: Doodler (Color: Yellow)
Corvette: CUTLASS. Captain: Draco (Color: Blue)
Frigate: LEGIONARY. Captain: Tingalz (Color: Red)
Destroyer: SQUIRE. Captain: Carolcat (Color: Yellow)
It's first come first serve, but don't feel left out if you don't make it in. There will be other matches eventually.
Also crumper and athey are barred from participating.
