I need to know a little more about Minecraft and how its servers work.
If it's efficient and price-worthy, and if you tell me about the game and help me, I will do it for you.
It's pretty resource-heavy.

It's pretty resource-heavy.
How so?
I've seen per-player charged servers. How much RAM per player in the server?
How can the player limit be enforced?

I don't think I want to even host Minecraft.

As for resource usage, not sure why it's charged per player. It seems more impacted by the map than it is by players. I can run a server on a 512 MB computer smoothly without lag, but once someone decides to explore the server cannot run anymore and complains about overloading when no one is even on it.

Also, a pretty good CPU is needed.

That I can understand for high player servers.

But I was only ever playing with a max of like, 5.

On my computer I experience some lag already with about 2 or 3 players, provided I run the client as well on the same computer (and it's a pretty decent laptop).
However, for some reason, this doesn't occur when I'm using MCadmin. Dunno why.

Hello, I am very interested in this service, but I have a few questions, if you don't mind.   What exactly happens if one's server crashed? I am not very experienced with any FTP but I am a pretty fast learner and need this for a clan. Thanks and sorry if my question was a bit stupid.

If your server crashes you just start it up again.

Alright I will see how it goes. If my clan comes out to a good start, I will most likely become a client.
Thanks

I need 10 more.

I could also just remove the Euro server.

32 people want to buy, and no one is doing anything. Not getting another server if no one buys.

Why don't you just remove the other one.. everyone probably won't mind..

Just get rid of the US server.

Just get rid of the other server.

Just get rid of the other server.
Yeah, I'm doing that.

I'll buy the American server soon, so I have enough time to see if the host is good.

I wont be paying for a server any time soon though.

I'll wait till I have something to actually put up.
