Yes. Especially a rifle like this one. They're bad because:
A. Rifles are stuff for CQC
B. Rifle rounds can and will penetrate walls and go into other houses

If you're planning on getting another gun, perhaps think of getting a Rugger .22 double action, with both cylinders. Those things are reliable as hell. Plus ammo for .22 and .22 magnums are cheap.

That's reasonable. The cartridge used by the Mosin has decent entry power, especially with jacketed rounds.
