Author Topic: If you kill your clone, is it considered Self Delete or murder?  (Read 2437 times)

Topic name is self explanatory. You know how in some games, movies, or TV shows, the people have clones and how sometimes the clones are evil? And when they kill the clone, mainly the person who was cloned, is it considered murder or Self Delete?

Murder, because you aren't killing yourself.

Murder, because you aren't killing yourself.
But it's your clone, so it's technically you.

But it's your clone, so it's technically you.
No, it is a copy of you.

If you do not share a consciousness, it is murder, you are different people.
If you do have the same consciousness, whoa, forget what.

stuff's fukked up, dood.

Why do all of your topics have to relate to Metroid?

Are you planning on cloning your own SA-X to hunt and kill like a Game Animal?

Reference noticed? No, I don't have any cloning devices, so I can't clone anything, but I was wondering what it would be considered before I do go to kill the SA-X.
But not all of my topic relate t Metroid. This is only... what, the second or third?

Why do all of your topics have to relate to Metroid?
Because Metroid invented the notion of cloning.
Everyone knows that.

Why would you want to kill your clone in the first place?

Why would you want to kill your clone in the first place?
Because if you were to really meet someone who was exactly the same as you, it'd get quite annoying.

lol'd

Or might killing your clone, in example: Dark Samus, would it be considered an act of good since it/she was planning on corrupting the entire universe with Phazon?

Why would you want to kill your clone in the first place?
Because rock-paper-scissors is no fun when the outcomes are always the same. Bonus points if you get the reference.

Dark Samus, would it be considered an act of good since it/she was planning on corrupting the entire universe with Phazon?
No, because a clone would have the same intentions as you.

If Hakumen kills Jin then it's Self Delete but if Jin kills Hakumen, it's murder. But they are not clones.
