I immediately see
Linkin Park
and think "wow, this irredeemably sucks".

Then I go back and look, just in case there are some redeeming qualities, and see that there are like 9 Linkin Park songs, more than any other band on the list.

Yeah, this sucks.

I am currently listening to Tonight, Tonight by the Smashing Pumpkins, and am really glad I'm not listening to Linkin Park.

Oh my word... I know several of these songs. Most notable by me were New Divide and Inside Out. How I loved that song...

I am now Screaming for Vengeance at Caution because of Linkin Park while Riding on the Wind because I took a Painkiller so I don't have to watch this thread with an Electric Eye in order to avoid a Metal Meltdown.

Ack, not diggin' the Priest.

Yeah, I'm not that stupid.

How about you pick an OAR song that isn't off their ass new album.

Because I like Shattered and I haven't gotten around to listening to more of their music yet. I plan to go back through and dig deeper in the artist's music to see if I can find more to add.

"oh no emo stuff obviously sucks". I've liked Linkin Park for a long time, they're good and honestly 90% of people who dislike them have listened to maybe one song of theirs and decided to jump on the bandwagon for social acceptance. The instrumental parts of the music are simple but well done and the singer has a good smooth voice even when yelling. And could you honestly critique it in any way other than "oh it's emo" or "it's stuff because it's stuff"?

Other bands I listen to these days? Dark Tranquility, In Flames, Soilwork, Dagonfarce, Bullet for my Valentine, Blink 182, the Offspring, Daft Punk, Nothingface, Doom Unit, Dream Theater, Brocas Helm, Daysend, Racer X, Protest the Hero, Universum, Slipknot, Eluveitie, Justice, the Killers, Dr. Steel, Coldplay, Afro Celt Sound System, Andy McKee, Amon Amarth, Black Label Society, Lacuna Coil, James LaBrie, Faith No More, Foo Fighters, Iced Earth.

People with their closed minds make me laugh. In other news, I approve of this playlist.

Edit: Woop woop importing my old Staind albums and Alter Bridge ones I got from England right now. Thanks for reminding me to do that.
