Author Topic: Jookia's CityRPG  (Read 3431 times)

I have a question with CityRPG.

I want to get rid of Hunger, Gender, Setting Avatars, and Education.
What edits to I make to do this?

If it's too much, does anyone have the second version of CityRPG? I have the current one that everyone uses. I was just wondering, and I hate hunger, gender, autoavatars, and education.

If you really want an old version, you might as well start from scratch. It wasn't much, just bare bones.

The 'old' cityrpg wasn't by Iban, and didn't have the hunger/gender/avatars/education.

Ive got Jookia's old one.

I aint no Iban
What I believe he means by "OLD CityRPG" is the City RPG made by IBan.

Use RP Core. It doesn't have hunger and that.

I dont think you can find it anywhere, and anyway why would you want to have a Stupid gamemode like that?

I would, but I want:

Lots.
Lot Taxes.
Spawning weapons COSTS MONEY.

Jookia's.

And I can find that WHERE.

EDIT: I found a copy, called PeopleMods_CityRP.zip

If I unzip it to edit it, it turns into PeopleMods_CityRP.zip.cpgz
If i zip THAT, it goes back to regular ZIP and keeps looping.

THATS IT!
Anyone remember an old server called "Yorktown95's CityRPG"?
I thought it was HEAVILY customized.
Turns out it was just a very tiny edited version of Jookia's! That explains the ^ commands that I loved.

About 4 months ago, Yorktown95 mysteriously stopped hosting CityRPG.
About a month later, his topic locked without any notice, and his blog deleted.

I set out to do some research.
I IRC'd him one day to find out he does not want to risk his video cartridge overflowing/exploding due to a mix of a dedicated server and his new home wire installment thingy. He said he couldnt let his friends host it do to "Copyright".
I think he's lying, the script wasn't fully by him.

I want to follow in his steps and make a CityRPG just as good, without the crappy Hunger, Education, Custom Clothes, and Genders.

So. What to do.

I ask again: Has anybody seen Jookia in months? The last few conversations I had with him were very... bad. I'm scared for him...
