HARDWARE

1. A Power Supply of some sort (Possibly one that outputs better than the one I have. No idea why.)

2. 800 MHz DDR2 RAM (Howerver many sticks I can get.) $30-60 bucks a pop.

3. a 1.5 TB hard drive. I've got extra space. ($75-100)

GAMEPADS

Belkin N52TE ($60-80, I had it before but returned it because at the time I had the ChairDesk and it was a pain in the ass for wires.)

HEADSETS

Razer Carcharias (Over my budget. $113, but it's worth it because I really need a headset.)

First 2 are like Wtf

Get a headset

What the forget, why do you need a $113 headset, get a cheap $20 one or something. What could an expensive headset possibly have over a cheap one? I've heard of expensive headsets breaking a lot more often than cheap ones, so don't try that one.

All of this is stuff, get some games or something.

first two are a total ripoff and completely pointless unless you play tons of MMOs and RTSes
headphones are a ripoff and you should get something that's half the price and pretty much just as good, logitech or saitek.

you'd be better off spending the money on games or a better mouse

possibly sound quality?

I bought 3 headsets that were about $30 when I started pc gaming. all of them broke within two months. My current headset is a $100 headset, I've had it for almost 4 months, still works perfect, no signs of quitting.

you ever think maybe he has all the games he wants? you'd be suprised how much peripherals enhance a gaming experiance, especially a nice headset.

seriously, think before you make an ass of yourself

razer products are ripoff.
you're not likely to notice any difference in quality

More expensive =/= better build/sound quality.

I like the headset. I have a Plantronics headset and I love it. I don't think you'll really need the gamepads (You could get one, of course).

Razer is rip offs.

Get some Trittons or Turtle Beachs. They both have headsets for exactly $100.

I personally have the Tritton Ax180s for $70 but they are still really good if you want to save $30 bucks.

Why is everything you people buy related to the computer in some way

I never specifically endorsed razer, I just said a nice headset. But I do agree, with razer you tend to pay a bit for brand name.

More expensive =/= better build/sound quality.

true, but I wouldn't exactly go out and buy a $20 headset. 9 times out 10 when it comes to computer products, you get what you pay for.

I used to use Turtle Beach x11's for my Xbox. I still have them somewhere around in my house, but I don't play xbox often.

I loved them. They have great sound quality.
