How many people noticed she used the abbreviation "ur" on her reply?

I'm slightly inclined to believe that she made a typo on typing "your".

Anyway, it's pretty sad when people resort to threatening game makers with the Police.
And I don't know how she could have turned from so horribly stupid after reading your first reply.
Her first message seemed just as a concerned mother, who wasn't comfortable with the idea, but clearly doesn't realize how multiplayer games work, and then you send her a completely normal message, with perfect uninsulting information on how to fix her problem to the best of the ability available, and then she suddenly becomes agressive and more interested in being right than actually fixing her own problem.

Maybe if she just questioned nicely why it isn't possible to fix the problem, then she would have learnt what she wanted to know and could make a rational decision.
People demean themselves too soon when told they're wrong.

well remember when badspot told us to go shoot up a school, then blame blockland for making us do it?

the more drama you can create out of nothing, the more free publicity you could get.

Wait a minute back up.
From what I understand, she pointed out how the bear face was called creep Bear. creep Bear is not really an appropriate thing for a 9 year old to know about. So therefore she goes on to whine about censoring chat and player names instead of asking for the decal of creep Bear to be removed? I must be reading this wrong because that's just insane.

Someone's name was creepBear I believe.

Oh it wasnt about the decal at all then, just some looney babbling about censoring names. Okay I get it now.

I love mail bag. Its always a good laugh.

Yaranaika is that one realistic-looking face, right? What's so offensive about its' origin?

Well... typing it in on Wikipedia brings up an article about a Japanese comic with homoloveual love. Dammit, I feel like changing my avatar's face now. :c

I can sort of see where she's coming from, wanting to keep her child away from possibly mature content on the Internet. But threatening to inform the Police about a name or image is just overactive. I think you might be able to delete the "creep_Bear" or whatever it's called from the Blockland Add-ons folder so it won't show up, and press F5 so names won't show up either.

I know im late, but i seen "ur" in there.
Just by hearing that phrase makes her sound idiotic.

Obivous Troll.

If not, then absolute stupidity.

:\

These parents complain about this, yet the same 9 year olds who told them about it curse and say these words in game anyway. There hasn't been a younger person I've met in Blockland yet who hasn't said forget or creep at least once before. I have a feeling that the next generation is going to be filled with overprotective "Internet genius" moms from the 90s, who think they still know how to work a computer. To think, how are they raising their kids? Ah, it hurts my mind.

What is with people and the internet. If you buy a game that allows your nine-year-old to access the internet where there are people that are older than him, there will be some consequences. If I were a parent, I would only let my child access MMORPGs with a chat system when he/she turns 12.Other than that, he can stick with playing offline games.

Whenever I see a topic made by Badspot in the Drama board that starts with "Mail Bag," my day instantly brightens up. Especially these most recent ones about control freak parents.

so she believes world of warcraft is moderated for language? lol

and her logic for that comparison is that its got more players? that would be contrary to her own point, as moderating is even more impossible.

Why not just put a warning on the homepage, "May not be suitable for mental midget handicapped kids."

mental midget handicapped kids.
Or make it more proper and put "May not be suitable for ages under 13."
