Author Topic: Mail Bag: More Child Defense in the Name of the Queen  (Read 35983 times)

I woke up to this topic. Awesome.

I'd love to see more of this conversation.

Think of it like Spore.

No, I mean look at the grammar of the bolded. I didn't understand.

Line four on her second e-mail, the bitch spells 'your' as 'ur'. Hahaha.

I'm not going to monitor what I say because your child might see me, we can say what we want. You should monitor your child's online interactions.

I can't wait for children of parents like these to get to the real world. They'd be eaten alive

I think I've threatened to do bad things with my snake to people over WoW at least 100 times, I've been warned 30-50 times and banned once for 3 hours. They don't censor stuff. My last warning was for saying "I love lubing my rooster with the tears from trade chat."

"I love lubing my rooster with the tears from trade chat."

Now I'm imagining Blockland in that box in gamestop with the little E on it in the computer section.

God that would be so cool.

Gamestop computer section? At the ones I've been to, there about 10 games, all bad, or no computer section at all

I made this for no reason at all :D

Why would someone compare blockland to blizzard? To Blizzard's world of warcraft that is.
I've seen and heard more kids and teens crying and threatening to Self Delete because of WoW than I've seen someone crying and raging because of our oh so mean community.

the name does not appear in chat, it hovers over the head of the avatar face that has been placed on your site by another user. I suggest if you make a game aimed at children you at least regulate who uses it and what names are being used for the avatars that are put on there for other players to use. Perhaps you shouldn't let other users use such offensive names. If offensive words can be regulated in-game, then so can names. If your attitude to such things is so ignorant, then i have no choice but to inform others to not buy ur game or allow their children to use it. I will inform the police that you are allowing such offensive material to be used in your game and you are not willing to do anything about it. Im sure both they and the media will be interested, as your game is supposedly aimed at children.

I do not allow my son to search for anything unsupervised, this one time he did, he did it out of complete innocence, looking for a picture of the bear that is being used in your game. Im just grateful for parental controls, who knows what damage such material can do to a child, with words like that.
My son will not be playing your game again and i will certainly not be recommending it.
It is disturbing when such things are allowed on a site that should be for children.
This is true, but primarily at the older crowd of children.

Is there even anywhere on the website or anywhere Badspot said this game is aimed towards children? I can't find it.
