We all know who he is. He's that person who posts those positive things, even though the topic was initially meant to specifically point out an individual and criticize them.
Yes, at times, it can be irritating. During my short duration of membership here at the Blockland forums, I have come to know Mage as that guy who posts those goddamn, lovey-dovey, feel good, Dr Phil bullstuff posts hoping to troll someone.
I was wrong. He doesn't have a motive to piss anyone off.
I PM'd Mage earlier. The conversation is as follows.
I asked Mage if he had a motive to troll and piss anyone off with his hippie posts.
Excuse me? :o
I explained the context of my question, telling him that it's not normal to see someone posting such things without a motive to troll.
It's funny, really. A person has no issue believeing that one can have a rude and condescending character when they see such. Yet when even a scrap of kindness is shown, ulterior motives always seem to be assumed.
Regardless, I do not speak "lovey-dovey feel good bullstuff", thank you very much. That which I say, my beliefs and observations about Love and life, are all in truth by my own heart and mind. As for when I am kind, I am because I want to be; because I see many reasons to be; because I happen to Love people and life itself. Now whether it's the internet, or face to face, or on a telephone, or by telegram, nothing changes this.
I asked him how he felt about me confronting him on his posts.
It depends on the context of the situation.
In this matter, I was initially suprised. I didn't know why you were sending it to me nor where it came from in the first place. Your word usage within both messages, however, did make me fairly anxious. But over all this conversation is rather familiar to me. :o
I wanted to know how the conversation was familiar to him, I knew I was hitting a milestone.
I've been contacted many times, and asked by many people things all in relation to this. I've heard it all, "Why are you so nice?", "Why are you trolling us all?", "Are you just pretending?", "Are you condescending or just idiotic?", "Why are you a hippie", etc. etc. At one point, I just realized that there are those in the world who with think you have ulterior motives. But you can't let that stop you from being kind. It is, afterall, in giving that one recieves. And while it can be sometimes exhausting, it's worth wild at the end of the day. c:
I then truly realized Mage was a different person. He isn't like any other Blockland member here. I asked him if he had an awakening of some sorts, or some altering experience to make him act the way he does.
I don't hold back my problems. I don't bottle up my emotions, either. That's terrible unhealthy. I face them, just as anyone else would. I can feel pain just as I can joy. It's in that diversity that I form empathy. And it's in that empathy that I find compassion for others.
No "awakening" or vision or something like such. I simply realised - after my fair share of rough times - that Loving each other is better than being bitter to one another. I, pesonally, believe God put us here to Love one another and grow as one, not hate each other.
Mage is a different kind of member. I believe that if more people (Bisjac) would be like him, the world would be a better place.
