Okay, here goes. This is about Hard Drives now.

1. If I were to get a second 1tb drive, would it have to be the "slave" or the master drive? since it would be 800 gb bigger than my current?

2. Would I have to install windows on a second HDD, even if it isn't the master drive? Or would it be like clicking on whatever port thing it is in, such as instead of clicking on C:, I would click on x to save it to the drive? (I know I am not clear on this.)

I'll think of more about hard drives in a minute, I am seriously thinking about getting a bigger drive.

Slave and master? Do modern hard drives even do this? Because I haven't heard anything about slave and master drives for YEARS.

You only have to install the OS on one hard drive.

I am pretty sure my motherboard is old enough, it is an LGA 775, but the older model that won't work with a core 2.

So, if I DO install a new drive, I can just download things to it like I do my current one?
