Author Topic: Images issues with Internet Explorer.  (Read 1728 times)

So in almost each topic I see with images, they end up with that X in the corner, and to load them, I have to right-click, and press Show Picture for it to appear.
This even happens to images I've loaded before. I am using IE 8, so I was wondering if there is any setting turned on that disbales image viewing?

Example:

I would like SUPPORTIVE help. Not get another browser. I don't have the best internet speeds and the patience to do so. Plus, I am usually fine with what I have.

Don't use internet explorer.

Problem solved.

Go troll someone else.

ie sucks

also, your internet connection has some effect on how many images you can DL on one page

You can't dismiss my legitimate help by calling me a troll.

Internet Explorer isn't the best internet browser, and there's some pretty good ones like Firefox and Chrome.

It's not like browsers are large downloads, On ISDN I downloaded FireFox in a few minutes. And Chrome's even smaller.

Or are you on dial-up?

What is your computer running?

My Windows 7 Ultimate ( Main Computer ) works 99% of the time with IE8. It's actually the best in our whole house.

My Windows 7 Starter Laptop ( With a built-in webcam ) works 80% of the time with IE8.

They both work OK, and I might be able to help if I know what you've got

Considering the fact you posted that just to anger me and arouse your lust for angry people, yes I can.

Plus, I know it isn't the best, but it fits my needs fine. Thing is, I don't have the time to download Firefox or Google Chrome.

No. But where I live, it's just as fast.
I get an average of 8kbps.

the OS is irrelevant to the subject.

Computer Componets =/= Internet speeds.

I know it isn't the best, but it fits my needs fine.

Your needs?

I don't have the time to download Firefox or Google Chrome.

Well Internet Explorer is default so it's usually easy to help when people know what you've got

Dial-up speeds.
This is my best guess of why you're having this problem

How the forget would you know considering you're asking us for help.

God I hate people like you, too lazy to figure things out on their own, but when they ask for help they seemingly automatically know everything about the topic.

On-Topic:
Get a new web browser if you don't want to figure out what's wrong with your current one.
