Author Topic: Computer Build **PICTURES ADDED**  (Read 1487 times)

My first computer build is finally starting to come together at last. Here are specs:

Coolermaster HAF 912 (Much bigger than I thought, it's unboxxed right now.)
2x4GB G.Skill RIPJAWS Series DDR3-1333 PC3-10666
OCZ 700W Powersupply
ASUS M4A87TD EVO Motherboard
D-Link Wireless-G Card (Scavenged from old computer, if it doesn't work, gonna run Ethernet cable to router.)
5.1 Creative Soundblaster live! card
Windows 7 64-bit
Lightscribe 8X DVD Drive (Also scavenged, but if it doesn't work my dad has a SATA that he doesn't use.)
WD 500GB Caviar Blue SATA 7200RPM
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz socket AM3 125W Quad-Core processor
AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP CrossFireX Support video card with EyeFinity

It's going to be pretty damn lovey. It's not coming together this week though, because I need to wait for my graphics card and processor to come in, then get some cables for everything.

Yes, that is a Restart button next to the Power.

lovey black.

Lot's of space!

Good luck with your build. I'm jealous.

I'll take a picture of it now. Uno momento.

EDIT: Sorry, having some issues putting the panel back onto the side.

Duct tape always solved that problem for me. c:

Don't do that.

I built my computer a year ago with the HAF 932 case.  They're pretty huge, but they work great, and mine was able to fit an 11 inch graphics card.

Those new cardboard PSUs put out a lot of amps, don't they?

how much was it?

The cardboard box?  It actually came with the case, believe it or not.

Lolino.

Not really. That's just there.

The case was $60. The cardboard box was free.

If the fate of the world rested on my shoulders just to order all the necessary parts of a computer and put it all together, we'd all die.

I can't think of a scenario where that would happen.
