This is what i did with inkscape. Should i keep using it? It's way too difficult for me to use, so i will stick with SAI.

You use the pen tool to bend lines if I'm correct as well as free-hand drawing.

NO! Don't make outlines and just fill in. Make another layer and take some time making colors

I like the accidental style with the white around the colors, (wich is it's loving fault), but it's so.. loving confusing. I'm sticking to SAI unless you help me find better.
