As with most of your paintings the eyes have always been weird. Though you have improved. You also always seem to have a lot of your portraits facing in that exact same direction.

Also I think the Miku in that picture is dead. Her head appears to be snapped because I'm visually thinking that I'm looking at her back and not her front. Overall good murder picture.

really good weeaboo drawing thing. (whatever she's called)

i'm going to be putting up some pics tonight, a YF-23, a FGM-148 Javelin, and a M1911

Still seriously bothered with the position of that neck, but overall is quite nice.

Oh god the picture is huge.

Holy god.
that's good.

GOD THAT WAS A LATE REPLY.

EDIT: that drawing is good, but needs heavy improvement

I think the neck is fine, but it's more about how the body is angled with it.

Yeah, I know... I think my problem is that I always start with the eyes when I should start with the head shape, and maybe I should go back to using guidelines. When I just do the eyes, they always end up looking the same and out of place. I always get too excited over the hair and eyes and the coloring so I never focus on the other details. I need to practice more with the anatomy. But thanks for the criticism. I'll put more effort into my future drawings.

Actually you're on the right track. Some very great artists start with eyes as a focal point. I, on the other hand tend to start with the feet or the head shape. Depending on what position I'm trying to portray the character in. I think your painting is well thought out and layed out for what it is. I should have specified I wasn't bashing it.

i always just start with whatever's going to be more of a pain to draw, so usually if someone's holding something or whatever i'd start from there
otherwise i just start from wherever i feel like it

For an entire person I go body, legs, arms, head. With the head I go circle, shape, ears, hair, mouth/nose, eyes.
