No matter how much I try to draw my OC it just looks like stuff.
Which means one thing: you haven't drawn him enough. Or figures in general. So just keep drawing. Look at other people's work as you draw. Here's something I do; look at everyone around you when you're out, and study body shapes, proportions, what things need to be drawn more carefully than others, etc. Just don't stare at people. ;)
