Oh how I used to be.

"I'm a dragon now."

But to answer you question in a "serious" matter, I have studied dragons for a long time, I have lots of those books. I began to see trends in many drawings. It is possible that it could be male, but 90% of the time it is female.
Odd, I use the same technique when drawing my female robots if they have antennas.

Mythbusters
"Have you ever thought about making a female robot?"

*Scanner skyrockets*
"Maybe"

Most likely a female because horns are curving downwards.
I usually draw dragons with horns facing both ways.
Does that make them biloveual?  :cookieMonster:

biloveuality is not the presence of both gender-specific reproductive organs

oh
then uh
does that still make a he, she or it?

it would make them a hermaphrodite

You cannot study a species that does not exist. I shall say I study the rare species of snowmen, and talk about it in a serious manner -> "Good job on the snow man, it's probably a snow-woman though since the carrot is shorter"

Herpents
derpy herpy herpents
i really want to find them though, i lost them last year :C

yes you can, the problem with it though is that since they are fictional it is actually impossible to have one standard for them

That's my point. The gender and the way the dragon looks is completely up to the artist. Not some dragonologist, which is a science field that does not exist also.

I think Wyverns are cooler though :3
