i love it so much i don't even know what to say

Can anyone give me tips on drawing? I really want to be good at it and I've only just began doodling around and posting pics to instagram in which people give me likes for, I don't think I'm good at the moment but I know that if I can learn more I will get better

works, can confirm

never draw from imagination. You should practice and learn about measurements and proportion first. Once you get the basics right, then it will let you draw freely a lot more easier.

I noticed this after drawing something a bit complicated

I've been drawing by looking at an image and drawing it on a page, I have came out with some good results but what else can I do?

if you draw solely from imagination you'll have pretty forgeted up proportions and death

no???

this is what learning anatomy is for, so you don't have to keep using references and can draw poses from a formula

referencing is important too but being able to replicate what's in your head using the skills you learned is the highest level.

alternatively people just learn anatomy from trial and error which actually works quite well for them

EDIT: y'know what drawing is subjective and different people learn different ways so try to assess what you want out of a method before trying either

Uh, not if you know what you're doing.
