a dnd world with stands sounds incredibly broken
id love to hear more about it
Basically in my world one of the gods governs ego and identity, Stands are a special power that he gives to his followers and they work exactly like Stands do in Jojo (range limit, Stands can only be hurt by other Stands, special powers, musical names etc.) Importantly though, they draw from that god's power, so only his followers should be able to manifest Stands. However, for some reason which the party hasn't discovered yet, some non-followers have been able to access Stands by stealing the god's power, which the god is pissed about. So the god gave the party special amulets which let them see and hurt Stands even though they themselves aren't Stand users.
The party doesn't know this but the way non-followers are getting Stands is through the Stand Arrow (same as in Jojo), however in my world the Stand Arrow is made of a special, legendary stone which can act as a conduit to steal the powers of the gods, and the gods can't do anything about these stones other than tell their followers to get rid of them
Most Stand users in the D&D world are really hard to fight since even the most basic ones are essentially two creatures in one, except that one of those creatures is invincible to anything that isn't a Stand and has weird powers which don't need energy to use
oh wait, new page, guess I'll post feet
