You seem to have a solid understanding of how it works.

But I assure you, the magic part takes care of everything. :)

I was asked to draw Marceline from "Adventure Time" witha  realistic approach but I couldn't draw a face just yet without giving the faceless version, drawn with a crappy pen!

And this one has some effects along with a face.
