that girl with the scarf is like

"waah it is too cold"

pages 742-746

oh my god i am crying right now
you guys are lovely people sometimes

why is it so shiny

like

i just dont know why its so shiny

i thought mew's color was supposed to be matte :s

i personally think it looks cool all smooth like that

WHY IS IT SHINY YOU ASK?

Because it's cute <3

Well mostly because you're not supposed to be able to see Mew's individual hairs because they're so tiny, and a matte finish where I couldn't draw fur would be too boring.

frankly when something is too shiny it gets to look viscous and slimy; you basically have a mew fresh out the wom- test tube there

I love all of your stuff, but i can't help but despise shiny things that are supposed to have fur.

Or when fur blushes. :I

Other than that, it's fantastic.

I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to draw

Mew's hair is so fine and thin, it can only be seen under a microscope.

I mean besides a really boring smooth, matte finish.

it's only boring if you make it boring

I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to draw

A little reflectivity would be nice.

But too much makes it look moist.

Something else from my sketchbook. I think the "cars" on the highway ruin it.

Not at all, it looks great!

They kind of remind me of the sheet music from that episode of Tom & Jerry where Tom is a music conductor but Jerry uses a flute or something to make the sheet music come to life thus messing up Tom's orchestra
