I appreciate it for the part where it's rather good for the people (like me) who don't have the confidence for their own personal thread. Like there are some people out there who don't feel like they're good enough to have their own thread and this thread is pretty good for that. Those people would still get some exposure but not draw too much attention to themselves I guess?
I dunno that probably doesn't make sense and is probably really dumb but personally I think that this thread is good for the people who lack the confidence to give themselves a thread but still desire some exposure and possible criticism regarding their works.

It's partially true.

But, the reason why they exist is to keep things organized. Like I said earlier;

Could you imagine if every drawing had it's own thread? Crazy stuff.
Or maybe a little less extreme; every artist?

Sure, it does undermine the purpose of making threads in the first place. At what point will every topic have a megathread? That's the real question.
