been a while since i actually painted something. closeup study of a leyendecker piece w/ acrylics. on a4!! tiny brushstrokes so hard. sorry for stuffty camera shot, makes the colours and values a bit weird :(

could stand to fix a few things but its ok as it is

indeed! but all credit to leyendecker's amazing skill and style. all i did was try to imitate him! his work is incredible, one of my all-time favourite illustrators. can't expect anything more from the guy who influenced rockwell

Completely forgot this existed so I started working on it again, any ideas for background? I could probably come up with something but want some input first

No the whole thing looks lovely. Small details like that are unimportant when it's executed as well as this.
