Working on a second style but it looks somewhat like my old one

it's cute, but imo they're really short and chubby which looks weird.
try thinning the arms and legs, or making them taller. try recreating the style your avatar is in your own way.

Something about him feels kind of off, not in a shady character way, but not quite human. It's probably his odd gaze.

The symmetry of the face is off and his skull is skewed to the right. Eyes are also too far apart.

Looks quite nice but the straw is a bit blurry, with your style all lines should be pretty solid
