it is largely not a thing that anyone seems to care about

then it wouldnt be 'advanced'

are you telling me that being able to get years to months of mileage of giant robot action off of single-digit gallons of normal ass gasoline isnt 'advanced technology'

then it wouldnt be 'advanced'
unless it was like 99.99% efficient with the energy it gets from gasoline, being able to run for extremely long periods of time on a very small amount of fuel

edit: yeah okay im a broken record

pshh, hybrids are the true future! charge it up with millions of watts instead!

its incredibly possible that he runs on gasoline and nobody sees him refill his tank
Or he's the Jack Bauer of Robots

Painting is a super hard skill

My paintings looks like abstract fart
i hate painting more than anything i can't do it at all

Well, if I designed a giant mecha, it'd convert all the shell casings into energy, somehow. So the only way to power the robot is to keep on fighting.

abstract oil painting is fun. any other kind of painting is nyeeet.

Or he could just have an advanced piece of technology inside him that pretty much powers him indefinitely. Like Tayas character Matt. He's got an infinitely spinning gear in his chest thats producing energy.
yeah, that's ridiculous

that definitely wouldn't generate enough energy to power the whole robot
and they'd have to be made out of some fuel, which would probably not be the greatest idea

suppose the spent shell casings were spiral energy

What if it runs on a hyperdense variant of gasoline with tons of potential energy and it has super effective energy usage, and also happens to have a pretty large gas tank.

He runs on emotional energy~

He runs on emotional energy~

What's this about "emotional energy"

I got a crystal

Anyone want to J.O.?

no but srs if that was a thing it would be a thing because in actual combat situations, when people were injured or needed help or anything, not only would badass robot be able to find them easily, badass robot would become much more badass to defend them.
And that would explain the stalkerish thing even more
